Izuku is a product of a quirk marriage.
All Might had gotten worried about finding a suitable successor, and after having his trusted friend Nezu search the country for compatible quirks and people, it was decided that he would get married to Midoriya Inko, who had a great quirk that she had chosen not to hone.

Izuku, will have to make his way through the world with his own two quirks, and become a hero, along with his childhood friend Bakugo Katsuki.
