Aphmau is the Delta of the Phoenix Drop pack. Her whole life, she's been working to get to where she is. Her father was the old Omega and had fled soon after she was born, leaving a bad reputation for Aphmau and her mother. Aphmau's 17th birthday is coming up and her mother is ecstatic! However, Aphmau is just curious. Who does fate believe she would be in perfect harmony with?
Aaron is the beta of the Falcon Claw pack. His father, the alpha, has been training him his whole life to be a good, strong, and selfless leader. However, Aaron has other thoughts on his mind. For the past two years, his soulmate still evades him. His soulmark just symbolizes a mystery to him now. And he's willing to go the extra mile to figure it out.

If following the volume of her beating heart was all it took to find her and get her out of the god awful living situation she was in, why didn't he come and get her sooner? Aphmau was a werewolf who drew the short stick in life. Her parents had tragically passed away and from then on, she was stuck living with the current leader of the Pheonix pack, Balto. Nobody could've guessed how he treated her, given the fact that they put out their most unrealistic, happy selfs. If she planned to survive any longer, she'd have to put herself to the test to escape, so that's what she did. With a herd of her own pack members sent to catch her the day after she broke free, she had no choice but to run to another packs territory. Coincidentally enough, she lived just a sprint away from their newly sworn enemy, the Falcon Claw pack. The leader of said infamous Falcon Claw pack was Aaron Lycan. Though he was originally only made the Alpha of the pack due to his curse, he was a kind and strong leader who proved his worth. His curse could turn a human to a werewolf or kill them with a single glimpse of his crimson eyes. Of course, that wasn't really the most annoying part of being the Ultima. She has been transferred to the housing near the city of Falcon Claw where she feels she doesn't quite fit in. Until one day, she hears someone at the barrier separating the sick from the healthy. Aphmau soon becomes friends with a healthy named Aaron, who comes to the barrier to play guitar, helping to calm and south those who have gone insane due to the illness. But what about a cure?
