Musically inclined Zander Reed finds Delia Gonzales, intoxicated and about to tumble onto the tracks just before the next subway train arrives. She's perfect, confident and unreal, which is enough to bring Zander to his senses and run towards her to catch her on time.

Saving her life thus becomes the starting point of their new relationship. The more time he spends with Delia, the more Zander finds himself intrigued by her. What he doesn't realize is that the woman for whom he has fallen head over heels has an obscure past of hidden truths she has to face - a beat yet to be discovered.

And that he, too, must grapple with inner demons of his own.

Jax's role as the "mutual friend" was to help Estella get the guy. Falling in love with her was never part of the plan. Estella Gillon lives a simple life that consists of band, friends, her father and her never-ending crush on Brice Abrams. Jax Velasco, on the other hand, is a bucket load of angst, trust issues, fear of intimacy and built-up anger. They are an unlikely pair, but somehow, the two find comfort in each other and become fast friends. Jax also happens to be a part of Brice's posse, and he may just be the key to Estella snatching the boy of her dreams. However, through all the run-ins with each other, the long car rides and the one-on-one moments spent together, the line between just friends and more starts to blur. Loyalties are tested, secrets are exposed, personal demons are faced and conflicts arise when the mutual friend transitions from being the wingman to wanting the girl for himself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Copyright © 2016 October Silver. "Why do you always avoid my questions?" "I'm not, it's just that there's nothing to say. Who would ever want to date someone they can't even talk to? It's not rocket science. My eyes are weird, and people get tired of me eventually. There's your one-page essay. Now please don't snow me to death .-." "What? All that you just said is a lie. And I should snow you to death for even saying that! I would definitely date you." "...Thanks." 🍒。・゚♡゚・。🍓。・゚♡゚・。 Dallas Addison had it all; being a talented swimmer and dating the star of the football team, she didn't think she lacked anything in any capacity. Sure, she and her boyfriend had minuscule issues, but which logical relationship didn't have their occasional ups and downs? After landing in Extra Credit class due to a series of mishaps with her grades and attendance, Dallas's turmoil became despair when she became paired with one of the most eccentric people in the entire class. Seriously. Who wore sunglasses to school, much less indoors? When weeks turned into months of working together, series of back-and-forth message threads started to hit closer and closer to home. Suddenly, Dallas realized that maybe her life wasn't as idyllic as she was previously led to believe. || Completed 2023 ✔️ || ©ReeseTory2022
