Tori Bennet has been abused by her mother basically all of her 17 years of life. Beaten by her mother, picked on at school, and ignored by everyone else, she tries to stay in the shadow, but never succeeds. 
One day, Tori's mother's abusive behaviors had gone too far. When the poor girl is found dead on the street, nothing is the same.
