Cassidy Clark was a hard worker. Five days a week, every week for the whole summer, you could expect to see her scooping ice cream at her town’s local ice cream shop.

She lived alone with her father, after her mother lost her battle with cancer 10 years earlier. According to Cassidy’s father, her mother’s dying wish was that she would be able to attend college, something she herself had been unable to do.

In order to satisfy her mother’s wish, every cent that Cassidy earns is sent straight to her college fund. Having just graduated from high school and been accepted to her dream university, Cassidy was planning on working her butt off that summer in order to earn the extra money she would need for textbooks after forking over the cash for her tuition.

It seemed like Cassidy had her life all figured out, but sometimes things don't go as planned.

A woman born with a silver spoon yet grew up independent couldn't wish more with her situation other than having her own house and stop her dad from worrying as if she is still a child. However, along the way, this lady crossed paths with a hardworking guy who grew up in a toxic environment that changed her world's point of view. As they journeyed further, slowly their cold, icy hearts melted into a sweet liquid of happiness. "Here's your ice cream." Maricar gave the guy her treat to him. "Thanks." The guy quickly bit a good amount of still-freezing sweet concoction of happiness. It was always his way to eat ice creams ever since he was a kid. Pierre noticed the young lady looking at his mouth with a disgusted face. "Is there something wrong?" "Does that hurt your teeth?" she asked with worry. She's the licking type of person when it comes to eating ice cream. She have sensitive teeth as her reason. "Oh, it's bearable. I'm after the feeling that it melts inside my mouth. I used to do this when I was a kid. My mom would buy me a small dirty ice cream when a vendor passes by our house. And that's one of my happiness that I still do today." "Why? What's the feeling?" Maricar asked for further details. Pierre grinned and looked at the ice cream cone. "I would think that this ice cream represents my time. I would eat some and let it melt inside instead of dripping it to waste. Just like today, I don't want to waste any minute and consume everything." Maricar suddenly spoke after a moment of silence. "Pierre. Do you mind if I took a bite of yours?" *** Language: English Rating: 16+ All Rights Reserved
