Hunger, the ache of starving seemed to drive her over the edge. "This is what you are good for, now come. I don't have time to listen to you complain." Orochimaru spoke calmly as the girl trailed behind him. "Hai, Orochimaru-sama." The girl grumbled as she straightened her Leaf village head band.

"Sarutobi sensei, is waiting for us. He wants to know how much you have progressed."

It was rare to find someone with a newly developed bloodline. Ever since the Konoha shinobi found her, everything changed. They took her from her parents and carefully watched her Kekkei Genkai develop. All for the good of the village.

(discontinued) In the Shinobi World, a scarce amount of humans believe in the existence of yōkai. Hatake Kakashi is not one of them. However, he isn't exactly the type to bluntly state that they don't exist. After all, a world wherein peace is not a word that can easily be understood is a world with a whole lot more mysteries and therefore, also cannot be understood. During a mission in the Land of Iron, Kakashi, Obito, Rin and Minato find themselves crossing paths with a girl no more than two years younger than the three children. Unexpectedly, the bizarre and cruel weather hasn't killed her yet. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.

"Why me? Why am I always the one that's different? It isn't fair! This pain of being all alone is suffocating, why should anyone other than yourself have the right to decide how you get to live your life? I'll show you all! I'll show you that I'm not the monster you label me as! I'm innocent, I didn't do it!" I've been called every name in the book, but I don't care. I was used to all the insults and the villagers hating me. One thing I wasn't used to though, was love. I didn't know a thing about it, what did it feel like? How were you supposed to know you were feeling it? I soon found the answers to my questions when I got taken back into the Hidden Leaf Village and placed on Minato's team. There are some things I learned from him, and things I learned from my teammates. Things I'll never forget. Minato taught me what it's like to have someone who cares for you, someone who would protect you, someone that will love you no matter what you are. Or what you've done.
