“Ma’am, Your Majesty, the King, wants to talk to you.” One of the servant boys interrupted me during my fencing lesson.
I set down my sword and placed my head guard next to it. I quickly left the room and walked to the throne room. Upon entering I bowed, then approached my parents.
“Mother, Father, you wanted to see me?” I questioned.
“Yes dear. I’m afraid we have some bad news. For you. I’m so sorry sweetie. The law commands it.” My mother’s tone frightened me.
My father decided to be blunt. “You have to get married by the end of next year.”
