Reaching the main door, I was holding the umbrella with my right hand and positioned myself in a way that I was ready to hit the one on the other side of the door if in case the person was a creep. With my left hand, I turned the knob and slowly opened the door.

"Sa...."

The umbrella dropped on the floor.

"Julius!" I exclaimed and jumped at him, giving him a bear tight hug. His signature, lemongrass smell engulfed me. I felt like I was finally home.

"I missed you" I mumbled against his shoulder and sniffled. Finally he was home after so long.

"THE AFTERLIFE CAN BE A REAL BITCH, RIGHT?" "Henri-" I began, but Henri's hand snatched up mine and squeezed tightly enough to break bones. I bit my tongue to hold back a cry. It was a warning. "Maria didn't say anything about a couple of vampires wanting to meet with her," the green-haired warlock spoke after the area had stilled with electrified silence. I looked Henri's way, and that's really when our situation caught up with me. Wait... "Maria..." I murmured in remembrance, then sent Henri a glare. "Why are we here to see Maria Day? If you don't remember, let me remind you that I killed her friend. Hell, her master. She'll kill me when she sees me." Henri had the nerve to laugh softly. "You're already dead, Antoinette." "Thanks to you. There are other ways witches can hurt vampires, aren't there?" My eyes traveled shortly to the warlocks, Daniel and Zachary, and I shook my head. "She'll burn me alive! I'm not going in there." "You're overacting," Henri said with a dramatic eye roll with a worth of a slap across his face. Lucky for him, I kept my hands at my sides. This night was about to get dangerous... This is Book 3 of The Hunters Saga! 1st draft, so there WILL be mistakes! After some rustling inside the bathroom, the door finally opens and I almost drop the clothes I'm holding. Kameron only has a towel wrapped around his waist, droplets of water dripping from his hair, down his chest, and disappearing underneath his towel. I try not to follow the path of one of the drops of water. It takes all of my self-control to look him in the eyes and no where else. I have a boyfriend. Austin. Remember him? "What do you what?" His voice is somehow even hotter. It's matured now. It's deep and a bit rough. "What does it look like? I need to shower." I say back, gesturing with the clothes I'm holding. "Shouldn't you be going to bed?" "I'm not a little girl anymore. I don't have a set bedtime." I narrow my eyes at him. He's always treated me like I'm his best friend's annoying little sister. "Yeah, I can tell." He suddenly says, suggestively running his eyes down my body. I try not to shiver from the feel of his eyes on me. I clear my throat to get his eyes back to mine. "You can move now." "Oh, can I?" He raises an eyebrow and I glare at him in return. "Relax, little girl, I'm messing with you." He rolls his eyes before walking past me. I can smell the scent of his body soap on him. Fresh, clean, and earthy with a hint of spice. I can't help but glance behind me and watch him go into his room. I can already tell this vacation is going to be a disaster. -Not revised yet, may be spelling errors & mistypes -Also on Inkitt -Dual POV

'Dang I need to look before running...' I looked up to see a old run down castle I heard the whispers again and I stood up and walked around feeling confused I entered the castle and saw it was broken. I followed the voices a line of light shone the way as well I saw a coffin and curiosity got the best of me and I slid the lid of to reveal a boy he looked pretty cute but light shone bright and I felt different but my mind foggy as I leaned down something told me this would wake him up. When my lips touched his everything sparked and I pushed away when I felt him lean to me.
