You could easily say that Chris fell in love with Naomi the minute he first laid eyes on her; but Naomi remained completely oblivious to it, even as their friendship grew. Three and a half years later, Chris and Naomi have remained great friends. Naomi had since stopped doing merch and just sort of drifted from place to place - including crashing with Chris when she came into town. Now, however, she's looking to stay in one place for a while; and when Chris informs her that his roommate has moved out, Naomi sees her opportunity. Chris takes Naomi in with open arms, still hopelessly in love with her. He feared telling her his true feelings, out of fear that she wouldn't feel the same and that it would ruin the great friendship that they already had.
