Valkyrie Syn, A woman believed to be dead and an ex-marine commander is offered the opportunity of a lifetime on the grounds that she join the Rapid Response Tactical Squad for an unusual last mission. The Union Aerospace Corporation base on Mars called Olduvai has lost communication with their scientists. Fearing the worst, the best of the Marines were enlisted to investigate. It was an easy search and rescue for her reward. But freedom comes at a dire cost when old friends skew her objective and the suspicious complex on Mars throws her into chaos. It would be easy for Evita to forget about where the gun came from and let her life return to normal, but its mysterious appearance won't stop nagging at her. When Evita starts asking questions Evelyn Sheer, the head of the city's Department of Energy, takes her captive and places her in a secret, underground research facility. Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Evita isn't ready to leave.

The Doom: Retribution hopefully does Doom-Girl better with more respect to the franchise, and to the Doom-Slayer, all the while introducing some more ideas to the game. Yes, Isabelle is Isabelle because of the Animal-Crossing meme. Also yes, part 1 means there's more parts to come. I had my own concept designs in the form of diagrams, but sadly I don't have the skill, or money to produce them. Oh well.
