Her breath got caught in her throat, remembering the vow she made over her mother's blood-smeared body, as sweat froze over her face, her jaw quivering with an unknown fear and her mind completely blank. She never imagined that there would come a point in her life when she would be lying inches away from those cursed white eyes in the exact same situation as her mother was in before her death. Worse, she would never have expected to become the same creature she despised from deep within her heart.
Asami Sato was a third year in high school, and the daughter of the chief director of P.E.D., the orgnisation responsible for protecting people from man-slaying creatures called POWANs- the focus of her hatred after her mother was killed in a POWAN attack.
The hatred, darkness, pain and loneliness she culminated in her heart gave rise to a hidden entity inside her that lied dormant until she had her first POWAN encounter which went quite appallingly. With her hatred compelling her to the path of darkness and love for humanity that reached no extent, she needed to choose how her life will go on as she kept on encountering confounding truths about her and this mysterious power's past. How would her discoveries affect her motivation for revenge? Or would they lead to an entirely different path?
