Her breath got caught in her throat, remembering the vow she made over her mother's blood-smeared body, as sweat froze over her face, her jaw quivering with an unknown fear and her mind completely blank. She never imagined that there would come a point in her life when she would be lying inches away from those cursed white eyes in the exact same situation as her mother was in before her death.
