The night of sorrow and significant loss but one that also brought great joy. The night of the fallen heroes. The demise of the evil. The rise of the new heroes of today. 

That night the one-year-old Harry James Potter survived one of the forbidden spells, the killing curse, due to the protection his mother gave to her children, sacrificing her life for them. A lightning bolt scar was left on the boy's forehead. 

Unlike her elder twin brother, Emilia Lily Potter wasn't struck with the killing curse. They say that the dark lord, he-who-must-not-be-named spared her.

Many theories of that night began to rise, on what happened that night and how the twins survived.
