Suddenly the quiet atmosphere was interrupted by loud banging on the door. For a second, I thought I imaged hearing it, as it was completely silent for a good minute. I jumped out of my sleepy state as the banging on the door resumed.
"Doc? Doc, we need your assistance."

Intro I needed to forget, I needed to feel wanted, at least just for that night and I did. He was young and handsome with muscles so defined his massive biceps bulged from the seams of his shirt. My eyes wandered to the door and I tried to be as silent as possible in my attempt to locate another sound. My body was tense, but relaxed when I didn't hear another noise. It's probably just my imagination, I thought. My paranoia was probably just getting the best of me since I was home alone. I heard the stairs creak again however and I heard... Footsteps. I put my book down slowly and got off my bed as quietly as I could. Yes, those were definitely footsteps. I opened my door slowly, trying to be as silent as possible.
