Marie and Scott are still together, happily. Scott's still playing with the London Knights, where he is now the team captain. At the first game of the season, Marie meets a girl, Cynthia. The only thing that stands between Marie and Cynthia is: Scott. The reason? They have a history, together. Things start settling down between Marie and Cynthia.

However, next comes Nathan Beaulieu, one of Scott's teammates from the World Juniors. When he becomes jealous of Marie and Scott's love, he hatches a plan. A plan to get Marie all to himself.
