"There are those who mark, and there are those who are marked. Which one are you?" ---- A story set in a time of man-made destruction, a time not too far from reality. Alesia and her brother Aaron, once faced with the harsh truth that life was all about survival, take on this new world together, this new world after the Turn. What once was, is no longer and Alesia tries to navigate that while also navigating the perils of her own self. Along the way they encounter people and situations that force Alesia to step out of her own box of survival and think bigger than herself. She's challenged to see and feel. She challenged to believe it's okay to shed the old Normal for a new one. Different does not have to be threatening. Different does not have to mean bad.
