Two years after the beginning of the apocalypse, eighteen year old Izuku Midoriya and seven year old Eri ventured out of their camp. Things take an unexpected turn after they cross paths with something... peculiar.

I'm trying not to give away the plot of the story so I didn't put much in the description.
The theme song of the story is 'Rise' by League of Legends. I am going to reword some parts of the song throughout the prologue. It's important to the story but you can skip it if you want.

He was ten when he moved, so he didn't exactly have anyway to keep in contact with his 'friends'. Eventually they all just seemed to fade into an empty memory. Except for one boy. He couldn't quite remember his name, but he remembered his unruly green hair and obnoxious freckles. Katsuki had no clue why this boy in particular stood out to him, but he was determined to find him again and get to the bottom of it. Now that he was seventeen and moving back to that same little town he grew up in, he can actually seek out the boy. But the boy doesn't seem to want to be found, at least not by Katsuki. Every time the blond thinks he's about to catch him, the boy slips through his grasp. My Hero Academia: Day before the Storm (IzuOcha)
There is a storm coming, and the future of the entire hero society lays in the balance. After returning to UA, Izuku and Ochako struggle to find their way back to one another. Some distance has grown between the two close friends, for a number of reasons. Japan is still in chaos though. Will they reconnect in time so that they can face the upcoming challenge together? Maybe a small gathering of the whole class 1A can give them a chance to work things out. The world in My Hero Academia has been flipped upside down when this disastrous event happened. With more reports of the incident, not just from Japan, but all over the world have reached a widespread epidemic. However, it has finally reached to it's breaking point and soon it became 'doomsday' all over the world. Inside the city, it was far from safe. People were either killed from the bites or from the riots. Ten years went by. The city's filled with blood thirsty zombies along with survivors who are just trying to get through it all one day at a time. Among many others inside the city was a 15 year old boy named Izuku Midoriya. In this AU, he will reach his breaking point and thought that all hope is lost, when he comes across a group of scouts who found him and brought him to the deep part of the forest where there are villages inside and away from the city. This AU will have most of the the characters from the show My Hero Academia and there will be some ships that I will include in the story, but before I can continue, I want to point out that I do not owe the show or the characters (other than a few of my OC's), I am just a fan who just wanted to write this AU for fun. This is a BakuDeku Fanfiction 🔞. Katsuki tries his best in surviving, keeping it together till the end and Izuku tries to live through it all before finally giving in and leaving all that he loved, behind. Katsukis world comes crumbling down at the revelation. An accident took place in the far north of Japan, where an abandoned lab had exploded due to the mixture of deadly chemicals. There were no survivors within a 10 mile radious from it until government officials were informed that people were reporting unsightly creatures roaming the streets, sending photos, videos, writing articles and casting the news about it until everyone around the world knew that they were no longer alone. Humans no longer ruled the top of the food chain. Hundreds of thousands of kids, adults, teens, and elderly have been devoured and killed in cold blood in just days. In their sleep. In schools, hospitals, playgrounds-- by giant beasts. That's when they knew that the only way to live, was to survive. At least, that's the goal to Katsukis new life, but what better way to do it then face everything and go at it alone? With help that Katsuki didn't want because they would only slow his search for the boy he grew up with; Izuku Midoriya.
