Matty Dove had 18 months to try and find a buyer for her late grandmother's lighthouse. A buyer who, she hoped, would not only buy the lighthouse, but love the village so much that they would invest time and money into saving the community. In 18 months, the Newfoundland government was shutting down Tuckamore Bay and all the residents were to be relocated to different parts of the province. With the uniqueness of Tuckamore Bay and its history and secrets, Matty felt comfortable that she could find a buyer. After several failures, a man by the name of Bill Williams did buy the lighthouse.
