Locking my office doors I walk down the hall and open the large doors leading out of my medical wing. Taking a right I continue to walk down the even larger hall. Waving at my head nurse Rebekah I gave her a faint smile as she waved back. "Going home Dr.Finley?" Rebekah said walking down the hall with me. "Ugh yeah, thirteen hours shift I'm exhausted." I said rubbing my head with a tired smile. "Ahh yeah I've got four more hours till I can go home." She said with a smile on her face. She loved to work, because she loved helping people. Rebekah made all of the work schedules and always helped everyone as much as she could. "Wow who would be so rude and give you such a long shift?" I said chuckling. "Yes so rude always giving me an extra long shift." She said laughing along with me. "Are you exciting to go to Colorado to see your parents?" I asked changing the subject. "Yes! I've been packed for like two weeks I was to excited to wait!" She said giggling. "I bet! Make sure you send me some pictures of the snow." "I will. I'm so excited for Jackson to see snow for the first time. It's going to be so cute!" She said, her eyes lighting up at the thought of her three year old son playing in the snow for the first time. "Well I've got to get going my mom wants me home for breakfast." I said taking a left down the hall. Rebekah waved me bye and went back to her rounds. I couldn't help but smile, "shes so excited." I thought to myself. "AHHHHHH" someone screamed. The echo threw the halls causing me to run to the screams. Taking a right down the hall I see someone ontop of one of the other doctors biting him. Blood pouring out of his body. Falling from the shock I gasp. My fall echoed threw the chaotic halls. The man ontop of the doctor looked up at me, with blood pouring out of his mouth. Gasping loudly from fear I jump up and begin to run to the front doors leading to the parking lot. Slamming into the door the light pouring into my eyes but I just kept running home. All Rights Reserved
