In the End You die. So why do we try so hard in life? We all have the same fait...death. You hear people all the time say that they're gonna become the best, the richest, the strongest, the most famous, the top. But why would you do that if your just gonna die, there's no point in becoming any of those things if your just gonna drop it and die. You watch people around you die all the time, did their goals benefit them in the end while they lay in that coffin. Or as you stand at their grave in tears wishing you could talk to them once more, tell them how much you love them, Those goals they had, you don't even give them a thought when you hear their dead. But when people are asked the question "Why do all that when your just gonna die?" They don't really answer, but they continue to go on with that goal. "Fuck." He whispers into my neck, sending a thrill of excitement through my body. His lips still smothered kisses over my neck and his hands roamed my body, starting at my chest, going down to my stomach. Caressing my soft skin, his thumb trailed circles on my groin before slightly slipping into the waistband of my jeans. My breath catches in my throat as I pull at the hoodie that covered his chiselled body. Understanding, Jacob pulls it off in one swift movement before attaching his lips back on my neck. Sucking and biting it before flicking his tongue over the sore spot. A quiet moan leaves my mouth and I clasp my hand over it, denying any noise to escape. "I see the world and it seems like I see it so differently than most other people. It makes me really angry most of the time. Especially since no one ever listens to me or what I've got to say. I try to express myself in so many different ways and no one sees it. When I sing a song people will only care about how the music sounds or how much I swore. If I paint, people will see the picture but not the meaning. It seems so obvious to me but everyone just seems to... close their eyes. Or at least shut off their brain. As if I see things they don't. But when they don't listen, how can I communicate that to them? It's so frustrating." Allie is a high school student and has big plans to make the world a better place. But her own head is pitting against her, throwing rocks in her path on a daily basis. Everything seems to be great for a while but what happens when her world suddenly comes crashing down around her? Can she ever recover? A coming-of-age story that deals with mental ilnesses, grief, first loves and family, briefly taps into the subject of religion and will likely enrapture you.
