However, only Nino, Luka, Kagami, and Alya know about Marinette's true colors. Marinette wasn't born in Paris, she was born in Nanda Parbat. She was raised by Monks that helped her after her birth parents died. There she met Damian, Talia, and Ra's Al Ghul. Somehow, she and Damian became close but after Deathstroke's attack, the league members Tom and Sabine Dupain-Cheng decided to adopt Marinette and take her to Paris. She never saw Damian again. Until Now... Marinette had won her class a trip to Gotham City, she was finally gonna see Damian again. But will Lila be able to come between them or will their love finally stop her? As a result of their hatred of Marinette, the bakers forbid her to go out as her wolf or tramsform, and they do not take care of her by any means, only making her life terrible to the point where she's afraid of herself. Then Lila comes and makes her life even more of a living hell to where she wants nothing to do with life and is as broken as anyone can come, especially when the class finds out her secret and are always hunting her down. Mari eventually has had enough with Paris, so she runs away and leaves the country, running back home to Gotham, where she lives on the streets and is quickly having people hunting her for money and her fur. Will Marinette find Jason and be saved? Will he be able to help his little sister, or will they both have to depend on the Kent family for protection against Gotham and Paris? Marinette wins the class a three week trip to Gotham so that her teammates can come with her, but also wonders how she is going to survive the trip without strangling Lila just to make her stop talking. During the trip Marinette meets friends, both new and old, as well as some new enemies. Marinette also seems to catch to eye of a certain Robin. Will identities be revealed? Will the Miraculous team finally bring down Hawkmoth?
