The legendary defender of the universe has gotten 5 new paladins to fight the new threat of the galaxy. All five are different and unique, none know the dangers they are going to face. Knowing that they are the universes last hope, will they be able to put their differences aside and form Voltron? Will they be able to save the universe?
We do not own the show Voltron Legendary Defenders nor the characters from that show. We have made our own characters for this while using the original from the show. Not everything is exactly as it is in the show, we've changed a few things to better suit us. This is just a fun story idea we created a few years ago and are still currently writing.
Although Voltron is a children's show this book will cover heavy topics and will have offensive swearing (that includes swearing).
This is book one of four.

Toumia
After barely fighting off a fleet of Galra ships, Voltron lands on the planet Toumia that is surrounded by three suns, humbly expecting thanks, gratitude, and food. Not necessarily in that order. However, as soon as they land on the ground, the leader of the Ibhe Htua, Pedagogue Tuaste, tells them that they did a good job, but there's a lot to learn before they even have a hope of defeating Zarkon and his evil empire. Grudgingly, they accept her offer to train them. However, a new threat to the universe arises soon after they land on Toumia, one that is completely unrelated to Zarkon and the Galra Empire. One of the many societies on the planet with purple grass has developed a way to help the universe, but the Voltron Team knows that this will do anything but help the universe, and that they must stop it at all costs. Together, the five Paladins make up Voltron, Defender of the Universe. And what do defenders of the universe do? They defend it. * * * The timeline for this fanfiction within seasons 1-2 of VLD are unknown, for reasons that will be clear by the end of this particular fanfiction. As such, the characters will know how to do certain things, and not know other things. Because of this, there will be spoilers for some things but not others, and seeing as this happens somewhere within the spacetime between the episodes of seasons 1 and 2. It's weird. Hang with me, it'll all make sense by chapter sixteen. Maybe fifteen. I haven't written that far out yet. And just as a forewarning: in this, I will be doing several play-on-word jokes that may seem offensive. THEY ARE NOT. Google the meanings of said words, and you'll see why I made them, if you're that mad. They're funny, mostly because of the reactions of the characters. Also, don't take this too seriously. Take Over
"S-Stay, p-please," Keith mumbled, hiding his face in his pillow. Lance nodded climbing beside the small boy. Keith turned to face him, his face flushed as he looked at Lance, "T-Thanks." "For what?" Lance whispered, his breath close enough for Keith to touch. "B-Being by my side," Keith moved closer to Lance, closing the small distance between them, "I-I thought y-you'd all hate me." "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. "I could never hate you." ------------------------------------------------- Keith gets kidnapped during a simple mission of the paladins. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron. In the middle of battle Keith is taken by the galra. While Lance and the other Paladins try to find Keith, he is put through torture. The legendary defenders are taking a seat from their positions as paladins of Voltron. The entire world will always remember the brave, young heroes of the universe that protected them from the ill-will of the Galra Empire. But what happens when only 4 out of the 5 paladins know what to do with their lives from now on. And what happens when one paladin needs the encouragement of another to move on from a past life of protecting. Is it worth it to keep your friend bobbing above the water... only to get yourself hurt in the end.. and sink?Concluida
Book 1: The White Paladin
Will had no idea what lay in store in the deserts outside of the cadet base. His dreams all drew him there, the same dreams that plagued him in his sleep for the past 18 years of his life, grew nothing but stronger as the days passed until suddenly, one day, he couldn't resist the draw after a comet from space crash lands several miles from where his dreams draw him. He had no idea that his dreams would take him beyond even the farthest stars he could imagine. --- Honestly? This is pure self-indulgent self-insert fanfiction for Voltron. I don't expect anyone to read this because of it, it's honestly for my own personal enjoyment, but there is some stuff in here for actual team building and bonding that the show lacks. I'm not up for discourse or hate, again, I recognize, this is 100% self indulgent, so if you are going to read this just know that up front. If you do wanna read it, honestly, thank you? Completed on 7/9/19!! The paladins of Voltron. Only one is a very impressive person. The other four are, debatable. Well, maybe only three. Keith is the one no one likes. Everyone's scarred of him. Can Keith and Shiro learn to both be the mates of a certain Wing shifter who happens to be an Omega? (All characters belong to Dreamworks VLD (Voltron Legendary Defenders) on Netflix.) Voltron: Next Generation: The Beginning
The war may be over, but other realities are confirmed... The paladins have crossed over... What's to stop others from visiting our own? What's to stop them from trying to take over? Follow the journals of the paladins through a world of survival and war. There's more to a person than meets the eye-- we've compiled pages from their personal journals to piece together what really happened in the fight for freedom once again. With their parents being who they are, the pressure is on. How can these kids live up to their names? What can a team of teenagers do to save the universe? From tragic backstories to close-call cases, full detail battles to lesbian romance, these journals somehow covered it all. They deserve more than a passing glance. 'course I don't own Voltron, and I don't own any of the art I don't claim. K there are obviously going to be spoilers, if u haven't finished the series (first of all, shame) wait to read this. Or I'll put warnings in there, but if you want to make 100% sure you get no spoilers, go renew your Netflix subscription :) Lastly, just enjoy this! So far, I'm having fun writing it. Book 2: Kaleidoscope
The Paladins of Voltron have their work cut out for them when it comes to liberating the universe from beneath the Zarkon's thumb. They've grown into their newfound positions, bonded with one another as a team, and they've become a force to be reckoned with. But many trials await the group, their path to each victory will be hard fought, and sometimes at great cost, but despite it all the question remains the same: what will the Paladins sacrifice to protect the known world? --- **This is a continuation of the first book in the Lion's Roar series: "The White Paladin". If you haven't read that first, then I would seriously suggest doing so otherwise the events and references that occur in this book will make absolutely no fucking sense and that's a promise. This is incredibly self indulgent for me, a continuous project that's solely for my enjoyment but considering the amount of effort I'm putting into this I might as well share it with the world.
