Although slavery was abolished years ago and black people now have rights there is still a colour war . It is said that if you are white you cant be with a black person and if you're black you cant be with a white person , but if you're mixed no one will want you . If you are mixed you are classed as a mistake and tormented by both colours . Join Sapphire a mixed race girl who grows up holding on to pain and is forced apart from her bestfriend and family and is dedicated to killing the one person who took away her humanity. Will she be saved?

The making of this book was inspired by "Noughts and Crosses"~By Malorie Blackman. Its a good read.
