Yugi Amane was only in sixth grade when he unexpectedly died along with his father and his brother. Yashiro Nene - his best friend - was left devastated and guilty for not paying enough attention to him.

Now living as an apparition in Kamome Academy, Hanako must figure out a way to save Yashiro from the fate ahead of her. Meanwhile, Yashiro must also find a way to save Amane from the curse cast on him, discovering secrets she hadn't known up until now.

It was just tiny things, really... But they still managed to set off warning bells in his mind. Especially when another person joins the conversation and adds a very particular detail that wasn't---and shouldn't have been---a part of the story. Hanako-san was actually a boy named 'Tsukasa'. Worried that his brother was planning something, Amane followed the new speaker as they disappeared down a distant hallway. However, instead of tracking down his twin and confronting him, Amane came face-to-face with his own boundary.
