There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. Who was I doesn't matter. Who I am now that... That matters. I'm a loner... I don't have anyone that I can trust. I left them behind. I couldn't go back to living a normal life. Not after the things I've seen, been through and done. But I don't want the world to be like this... I may never change, but I hope this world does. If not for my sake then for the sake of those who suffered, died or bled in a world like this.
