Ben Solo is Alive. He survived his battle with the Sith Lord in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. It has been three years since the First Order fell and Ben turned from the dark side to the light. He has been living in seclusion on a little known plant. Due to Rey's urging, Ben decides help strengthen the new People's Republic by assisting missions to spread the republic to dysfunctional Mid Rim planets. He must do this without revealing who he really is, or the true nature of his relationship with Rey.
Not only are Ben's missions dangerous and unpredictable, but he must face what years of being a part of the dark side has done to him. He finds himself often at odds with the eccentric Senator Gavlink, an powerful player in the new government and his superiour. When a mysterious message is found under a pile of murder victims, Ben finds himself at the center of a savage game of cat and mouse. The hunter has become the hunted. Ben must fight for his life and answer the question he has been avoiding: is his soul already damaged beyond repair?

Your parents were killed along with the rest of your village, you had no clue why anyone would kill them hell you didn't even know your parents you were no more than a month old when they were killed. Together, they are sent to a remote forest/mountain planet for five years with minimal contact from friends/family at the end of each year. During their exile, Rey and Ben will learn many things, not just about each other, but also about the true nature of the Force, and of themselves.
