5 years after the infection is defeated, a young vessel bee searches for the fabled Pale wanderer responsible for the act, hoping to receive training so he may protect his hive and queen from the mutated exiled mantis's, but happily gets more than he bargained for when he comes across a merry band of dragon riders.

My Post Infection AU [Hollow Knight]
A betrayed Vessel was pushed down the fountain as a sacrifice to the Pale King in hopes he would return. Killing her fueled the Radiance's anger and the Infection began to spread faster, and take more violent control over it's hosts' bodies. This continued until the little knight arrived and put an end to the "Light that Plagued their Dreams." But when the hero died something much more unexpected happened, a wyrm of void and god appeared in the Ancient Basin, with the knowledge of things that had happened before, claiming to be the Vessel the old king's followers pushed down the fountain. I just wanted to write this.... Technically this is finished. But I've left it marked "Ongoing" just in case I decide to add joke chapters to it.Complete

No matter how brilliant this dragon looked, however, I couldn't fight back the only other thought that was running through my head. OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS. If that isn't your thing, I wouldn't recommend this.Complete

This novel depicts the full story of Hollow Knight in the perspectives of 5 different characters, which are represented in 5 long chapters. Many things in the Hollow Knight lore are very unclear, so we had to fictionalize some things. Please dont get mad because some events appear that are not 100% confirmed to be accurate. Im not Team Cherry. I dont have the lore bible. I dont work at ICE anymore. This isn't your typical fan fiction where everyone... ya know... does the nasty.
