Isinugod ang kanyang ama sa ospital dahil inatake ito sa puso, nang puntahan niya ito ay may kahilingan na hiniling ang kanyang ama sa kanya, at yon ay ang pakasalan si Irene - ang anak ng matalik na kaibigan ng kanyang ama na pinangakoan nitong papakasalan niya si Irene.

Bata palang siya ay palagi nang ikinukuwento ng kanyang ama ang lalaking mapapangasawa niya, dahil sa mga kwento ng ama ay minahal na niya si Keith Gonzales kahit na hindi pa niya ito nakikita sa personal.
Napaka-importante para sa kanya ang kanyang ama sapagkat ito na lamang ang natitira niyang pamilya dahil nawalan na siya ng ina. Kaya naman mahal na mahal niya ang Daddy niya, buong buhay niya naging isang masunuring anak si Irene, at ang hiling nito na magpakasal siya kay Keith Gonzales ay hindi niya tinanggihan.
