Many girls obsess about how to be the perfect girlfriend. The truth is most guys are happy enough just to have a girlfriend. However, it is important to know that for guys , being respected is the most important thing. Guys want to know that you think they are powerful and strong. Also do not disregard his complement. If he tells you that he thinks that you look beautiful, don't tell him that you are ugly. You may be acting modest, or displaying your own insecurities, but to him, you are saying that his compliments don't mean a thing.

This is about you. This is a book but not a book. I don't know if that makes sense but, well here it goes. This is about a guy. A guy who has been there in my life for so long that I can't imagine him not being there anymore. A guy who is mean, rude and idiotic to me but also sweet, caring and loving. A guy who knows me inside out. A guy who even with his flaws is just perfect. A guy whose smile can melt all my problems away. A guy whose sadness, I can't stand to see. The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying. This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear. An incredibly handsome guy is holding your hand and looking at you with eyes gleaming with love. Yes a PERFECT day and a PERFECT boyfriend. Scene II: you just met your perfect boyfriend. Now you feel like sharing your happiness. You call your friend who is equally happy to know about your happy day. Yes a PERFECT best friend. Isn't it what every girl needs? A Boyfriend who doesn't cheat and a girlfriend who doesn't bitch. This is my life. Scratch that. This used to be my life.
