Everyone here has an I.D. a barcode. Something that identifies them. Here everything is high risk; full of supernaturals all competing for superiority. All unconsciously fighting to stay alive. Kyndel is invited into a group of untouchables, never worried about the people killing students, because they believe the killings are based on social status. She soon realizes they aren't the top group, they never were. Someone at school is killing student's, to keep order in a school of powerful supernaturals. After Kyndel, her brother, Adrian, and three other students start attending the school she does some research of her own. To her and her friends the killings make no sense, but to a boy named Joel, everything seems to fit together perfectly, except Kyndel.
