Pale blue sky. Glittering summer sun. And Greek warriors in chariots? Kassia Smith's eyebrow rose at the scene before her. It was straight out of a history book. Only it wasn't.

After falling under a lake during her Greek trip, she wakes up 2,000 years in the past with a man instructing her to save Alexander the Great. THE Alexander the Great!

With the clocks ticking and a King to save, will she be able to fulfill her mission or will she end up dying in the hands of the King's murderers?

***

"What do you mean you prayed to the gods to zap me out of 2020?" I shrieked towards the man calmly sitting before me.

"You heard me perfectly Ms. Smith." This gorgeous but stoic man calmly responded as I gape at him. "This isn't a game nor am I lying. You are in 330 BC and I need you to save our king Alexander of Macedon."

"Are you insane?" I snorted at the absurdity of his words. "Alexander the Great has been dead for thousands of years!"

"He is alive and well." The man pointed out flatly. "You may believe it or not Ms. Smith but you are in our time, and we need your help."

"If you want to go back to your time, then you have to secure that Alexander lives. Only then will the gods bring you back."

I tipped my chin up in defiance "And if I don't?"

A smirk fell on his stoic face "Then I hope you have the wits to survive in our time."
