A Heart Breaking Christmas

Mother hung up the phone with tears welling up in her eyes. We stared. "S-she's gone.Charmant is gone." was all he said before she burst into tears. I couldn't believe my ears. Charmant's gone?! No...NO! This couldn't be happening. It's christmas, it's my birthday. I couldn't control myself. I ran to the backyard, fell onto my knees and looked at the sky. "Why? S-she didn't do anything...Why'd you take her?" And suddenly, I felt the world collapse on me. Charmant couldn't be gone.
