Ezra Phillips shouldn't be alive. But he is, and he's not sure how to feel about that.

After being in a horrific drunk driving accident, Ezra must serve time - 120 days to be exact - volunteering at Lakeside Living, a nursing home which doubles as a daycare.

Marcella Lovelace should still be behind bars for the lives she's helped ruin. But she isn't, and she's not sure what to do about that.

After getting a live-in job at Lakeside Living as a caregiver, Marci prays everyday that the good she does at the home will be able to make up for all the bad that drowns her past.

Whether they realize it or not, Ezra and Marci are both searching for the same thing: a supportive structure to hold them up. So will the flowers of their present life reach up to touch the sun, or will they fall to the beaten earth like the blooms of their past?

The answer lies within each other.
