"There's this tune I've found, makes me think of you somehow" "Here, read it. I'll finish it later gotta dash" "If I don't?" "I'll cry" "Its kind of hard to say when your sobbing on my shoulder" Parker smirked. "You seem a little drunk, or just really cranky" "Well that's awkward" "Okay, dude you're just laying there like a dead fish". "Is your booty call leaving already?" A boy scoffed. "Is it something my dad would disapprove of?" Snips of conversations in the chapters. Piper moves to LA to live with dad after her mother has enough of her crazy behaviour. She meets a boy who just so happens to be her step brothers best friend. Add drama, love, tattoos, humor, parties, alcohol and other tonnes of shit and there you have it, the story.

Echo Frost moves to a new town in California with her "seemingly" perfect family. On the outside, they appear well rounded and put together, but behind closed walls...let's just say a lot goes on after dark. For one, her mother is a sloppy drunk, unable to resist the temptation of flushing out the past, leaving Echo to single handedly parent her little brother. When she starts at her new school, bad luck seems to follow her everywhere as she has a run in with the school's most sought after bad boy. TRIGGER WARNINGS: (note these are just general, there will not be warnings within chapters when it's about to happen) *physical and mental abuse* *alcoholism* *self-hate/blame* *toxic masculinity*
