Still, it's us.

Two souls. Separated by circumstances. Only the universe knows if there's still a chance for them.

"Hey." I saw his smile fade as his eyes landed on me.
"Hey.." my reply came faint. I can't believe it.
"Win, it's been a while." He forced a smile, I know him well enough. I can tell if he's trying or not.
"Yeah, how's life?"

'I missed you' was what I really want to say.

"Great. Better than I've ever been."
"Great, then. It's nice meeting you again." I smiled, distracting myself by swirling the wine in my glass.
"It's crazy how we've met again." He said, leaning against the bars. Eyes occupied by the sight of the city below.
"Yeah, crazy." I laughed. Oh god, where's my abilty to speak?
"Do you think that the universe is giving us a second chance?"
"Huh?" I blinked, lifting my gaze up to him.
