Gerard Way is the most popular lad in the school. He isnt a typical popular kid- he was flamboyant and headstrong and loud, with bright red hair and a love for punk music, and David Bowie, his idol.
It's not a secret that Gerard is bisexual to his peers even though he had never openly admitted it. With his mother at the end of her rope with her wild son, he is at risk of being sent to live with his dad and younger brother, Mikey. His homophobic, savage father. He's afraid.
His best mate and sidekick, Frank is a quiet kid, dealing with inner demons and a lot of anger from his family cutting him off despite living under the same roof. He's afraid as well.
A lot can happen between two people when they oepn up about their troubled past and present struggles.
