She knew that trying to become friends with Shoto Todoroki would be difficult. In fact, it would be damn near impossible since she knows how much his father despises her and how he drilled into Shoto's brain that becoming number one is the only thing that matters in life.
It breaks her heart because she knows that if he believes those words then he will forever be lonely. The quiet and shy kid she met when she was five years old has now grown into a cold and stiff man that refuses to lose. Celia tightens her hands into fists and lets out a harsh breath.
Fine, if he wants to be that way then thats his problem.
Celia lines herself up at the starting line and straightens up her posture. Determination floods her veins as she looks onwards towards her teacher who was holding a store watch.
If he wants to compete with her then so be it.
