The Imperial Capital Randall and it's luxurious city are guarded by summoners that can control and tame creatures. They journey the lands on adventures and wild quest. The vortex gate, holds portals to different galaxy's and challenges for summoners. When the vortex gate is used by Maxwell, a crazed summoner, to deliver his forces on the city, it's up to a legion of the six hero's to stop it. What they don't know, is that the sixth hero has been taken and he must survive, to save his city.

Despite the title, the story introduces a vast expansion in the world and lore of gate as well as changes, but everything remains true to the Gate formula. At first It was supposed to be only a Gate X Marine fanfic but over time it developed into an alternative plot line diverging from the original so don't be surprised why the first season strictly sticks to canon.
