Defying Fate
Please don't read this, I wrote it in middle school and it's really bad. I just don't want to delete it because some people might get mad at me ;-; Maybe someday I will rewrite it. "What kind of fairytale is this? Where's the happy ending?" The little girl, approximately 7 years old, asked her mother. "That's what I wanted to teach you May, you should know now, that life isn't always going to have a good end. Bad things are going to happen, and if you play them off and ignore them, it will only worsen," May's mother explained. May nodded slowly. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Once upon a time, is how most fairytales start. Then, they end with a happily ever after. But not this story... There once was a prince, who fell in love with a girl. But she wasn't a princess. She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth. In the fantastical kingdom of Adrith, the King employs individuals into being his royal guards called: The Guardsmen. This adventure follows a group of new guardsmen that must power through a variety overwhelming challenges, deaths, and battles between demons both within and externally. Dark themes and morals will rise up and test the bounds of what they are capable of. Note: I have drawn inspiration and ideas from a variety of sources. While some parts are a lot more obvious than others, I drew inspiration from: Attack on Titan, Bleach, Naruto, Hitman Reborn, HunterxHunter, Blood-C, Kuroko's Basketball, Undertale, and The Legend of Korra. If they stayed around each other things never went right for either of them. But he had a plan and she too had a plan. But what happens when she is pushed away from him and into the arms of another.
