Steven hangs helplessly over the edge of Spinel's injector and even when he gets his powers back it too little too late as he falls to presumably his death.
Nothing is found when the dust clears, except his flawless gem which doesn't even have a scratch on it. The gems don't know what will happen. Who'll the gem ever reform and if it does who would it turn into.
Is Steven truly gone.
