Yuta Nakamoto runs the biggest nightclub in New York, he was transplanted from Japan when his parents were seeking out the American Dream. They never found it but he did. He's never been in love and doesn't plan to in his lifetime, he's seen too much hurt around him to know he must stay away from it. His plans go according until he meets Sicheng a beautiful bartender at his very own club. He can't get him out of his head no matter how hard he tries. Si cheng is fairly new to New York having come here on an educational visa from China, he speaks English well so his new job at Neo culture night club is ideal. He can go to school during the day and study in the afternoon since his shifts don't start until 8pm. He works until 3 am 4 nights a week so that leaves him little time to sleep most days, but he needs the money so he will keep this job as long as he can. He doesn't date, his past scars haunt him everyday when he looks in the mirror or even when he closes his eyes. Nakamoto Yuta is one of the most well-known students in his university, mainly for his intense participation in his singing and dancing group 127! with fellow friends Mark and Jaehyun. This junior year, he was sure that he was going to win the first prize in the dance-off at the end of the year for a free two-week trip to America, recognition and a cash prize. They had to win this. Of course, things don't always go to plan. First, Jaehyun is stupid and breaks his ankle and demands that they replace him, to not wait for him. That's when Taeyong comes in. But then Taeyong brings along his cousin Haechan all the time, someone who Mark secretly loathes. Fighting erupts constantly and makes Yuta more stressed and next thing you know now he's failing. He hires a tutor, named Sicheng, who is supposed to be very good. Sicheng is cute and now Yuta has a different issue on why he can't concentrate. Now Yuta has two goals.
