After years of bitter civil war, the King and his men, the Colourless Soldiers, took over. Poetry, stories, paintings and songs became prohibited for the King knew the power of creativity and the human mind. Jack Nero has trained his entire life to enforce the King's laws as one of the Colourless Soldiers. There is no doubt in his mind that imagination is dangerous and that he is fighting for the right side. Until that is, he meets a girl. Jade introduces him to her world of paints and colour and he doesn't look back. With the help of the artists he meets, he sets about bringing creativity back to the people. Inspired by him; they grant him the nickname "the Coloured Bandit" and he becomes a figure of myth and legend. But can he turn against the King he once followed without a shadow of a doubt?

But the creator promises the demon's voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. "Ashton...dont...dont leave me" I chocked out close to tears. "I'm sorry Jade...our love...it cant be" he said looking at me with a sad smile. I shook my head forcefully "Please..please dont leave me!" I whispered at him trying to control myself from crying. "Goodbye Jade" he said. "NO! No Ashton dont do this to me!" I pleaded closing my eyes, letting tears fall down my face. He gave me one final look before turning around. And in a blink of an eye... He was gone....Gone forever..... Being 17 years old is tough. Thats what teenagers say, But for Jade Torres it's even thougher! She has had a difficult life, being the alpha's daughter isnt easy. No one wants to go on dates with her fearing her father. Jade dosent only feel unloved the boys that surround her at school but she feels unloved by her father also who is always being mean to her. She feels like he dosent love her and she will do anything to gain the love he never gave her.Getting perfect grades in school, being a good daughter etc. That is...until the day she gets tired of pretending to be someone she isnt and runs away meeting Ashton. Born into the world colorless, born into a world fueled by hatred and hierarchy. Ever since he was born, the other cooler kids' words didn't affect him. He was going to be the only one to not only survive the mental torture, but to survive his impending doom of being executed. How will he pull this off? Will everything work out properly? Hurt her. I know better than to listen to the voices in my head. You know you want to. But sometimes.... It just gets hard to ignore them. Slap her. I try my hardest to contain myself. Kick her. They're all in control. ___________________________________ Jacob has been hearing voices since he was fifteen. He had no clue as to why the voices suddenly appeared in his thoughts. He told his mother and in response she did nothing. He begged for help from her; he had questions that needed to be answered. Just six months ago he found out that if the voices really try their hardest they can control him for a short or long period of time. He's gotten into a lot of trouble because of this.
