7 years ago there was a small Town named Burling. In Burling there was a carnival were people would enjoy themselves and have the time of their lives. Well that was until 7 children ended up not coming back home the night before. The park was closed down 4 days after the incident, nobody knows where the children went or will they ever show up.
"Hm?, how did this happen? ".
The kids left without a trace...... Looks like I found myself a mystery to solve, if police couldn't solve it... I will!

The Lost But Not Forgotten
I give credit to the title to my wonderful Girlfriend. I didn't come up with the title she did. 6 teens befriend each other at about age 7-8. They form a bond unable to be broken by anything. As the years go by they start staying out past curfew. One day, 8 years after they became friends, they get caught. They manage to get away with only minor punishment. Only 3 of the 6 end up going missing the next day. The others heartbroken and hurting stay close and try to find out what happened to their dear friends. Sadly 2 years later they part ways and move to three parts of the village (kind of a city but more in the country, not many buildings and everything). 5 years after the disappearance of their friends the last 3 find themselves back where they grew up together and in more danger than they ever thought they would be in.

A couple are walking home through a park. With the father is carrying their five years old daughter in his arms when a silent hammer wielding man attacks them. The frenzy attack carry's on until both adults are dead.The child is knocked out with blow to her head. Thirty minutes later she wakes up looking for her parents. She see them covered in blood and screams out mommy and daddy. The neighbors across the streets hear her . And call the police.

In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us. We never talked about the night we ran in the forest, never spoke afterwards at all really, but now we're going to need each other if we're going to survive what's coming.
