Amelia Hathaway sets out to disprove that the supernatural exist. The venue of the supernatural dare - in the middle of the cemetery, under the ancient Oak Tree, on the eve of Halloween, by the strike of midnight. She was completely unimpressed when she found nothing. But waking up in a hospital bed the next day turned a complete round of her life. A mysterious ring on her finger and a strange but reassuring voice in her head, what couldn't be even more confusing? Being married to a complete and total stranger and not to mention, a supernatural creature of the night at that. Not just some random vampire, but a handsome enigmatic Prince of the Darkness, Stefan. As Amelia comes to terms with her new martial vampire lifestyle, she discovers that her eternal love could be at risk.

The lights flicker, the streets fill with disturbing figures and the line between reality and fantasy seems to blur. It's Halloween, the night when nightmares come to life, where even the harmless can transform into something frightening. But what happens when an innocent prank like a macabre decoration turns out to be a horror far more real? In this story, three brothers (Fallou, Saliou and Mohamed) together with their two sisters (Mame and Adja), find themselves in a living nightmare with a group of friends, acquaintances, strangers and even pets, trapped in the garden of their house, forced to face terrifying, bloodthirsty creatures to survive the night that soon became far more terrifying than it should be. BACKSTORY: The idea for this story came to my sisters (Mame and Adja) and they convinced me to write it so they could read it before going to sleep. I spent a couple of months thinking about a plot, characters (some based on real people and some fictional) and a possible sequel. Let me know in the comments if I should write a sequel to this story!
