"I am sure you can guess by now." You hummed innocently at his comment and waited a little in order to see if the male really had the same destination as you in mind. And of course he did, after all, there was only one special spot that truly united the two of you. 

The garden area of the palace.

Just like during every time of the year, the garden was green and aesthetic, but your favorite part of it all were of course all the colorless butterflies that filled the air. Mahad led you right through a larger group of those delicate beings, so that you could reach out to their clapping wings with your bare hands. This whole scenery felt so nostalgic... It was even better to know that you were sharing this moment with Mahad happily, despite all the hardships you had faced.

Yugi, a young boy who was a servant for the royal family in Egypt, had stumbled upon the young prince with one of his teachers in the garden. Yugi was not allowed to befriend or speak with Atem unless asked or forced to. One day, Yugi was playing with some of the other servant kids until the young prince and his friend Mana were out in the field kicking some rocks. The young servant had not realized on how much he and the prince looked alike, the only 2 differences were that Yugi was way more paler and was not royal. Yugi had somehow gotten hurt, and this is where the relationship began. As his "friends" left him because they could not handle the crying, the caring prince and his friend rushed over to his aid. The servant just thought they'd help so none of their 'slaves' would be harmed and could continue working but that's not how Atem saw it. Later on things had happened to where the prince had ordered his father to keep Yugi in the palace, so the two grew up together until war began. For 3 years Atem had left.. Yugi hopes to see him soon someday.
