The monsters are threatening Camp Half Blood's borders and in the west, Camp Jupiter has been overthrown by a follower of Octavian. Reyna, Frank, Hazel and the 5th Cohort escape to Camp Half Blood. A new enemy, the Visigoths, also demigods have allied with the monsters. Modernization begins and the demigods embark on a adventure to destroy the monsters to the land beyond the Gods: Alaska.
