Arabella Tremaine has always know that she was going to marry Carter Canterbury, Marquis and heir to the dukedom of Canterbury. She has been taught that it is her duty to her family to marry Carter but begins to question her obligation when she catches a glimpse of what passion could be in the arms of his brother a year before her wedding.

A Rake with a Reputation...

Andrew Canterbury, the spare to the Canterbury estate, has spent his entire life overshadowed by the image of his brother. He gave up trying to please everybody long ago and now has a reputation as both a rake and a scoundrel. His encounter with his brother's betrothed was brief, but left an impactful memory that he just can't shake.

Two weeks to decide...

Now, two weeks before the wedding, the entire Canterbury family is gathering at the family estate to celebrate the wedding with a family tradition. Each day, the various couples in the Canterbury family will compete against each other, and if Arabella and Carter win, good luck will follow them through their marriage. Andrew sees that Arabella still has feelings for him though, and places a wager with Arabella on each day's games, promising passion in his arms if he wins. Now, Arabella must choose between doing what her family asks of her, or giving in to passion and adventure and playing the rake's game.
