The main story hasn't changed. I'm just re-adjusting some backstories, redoing scenes, fixing spelling and grammar, and adding world-building stuff.

After Alex's childhood house is burned down, along with the rest of the town, they are forced to flee with the stranger who saved them. Forced to start a new life, make new friends, and forget about the past.

Alex can't shake the feeling that something bigger is behind the attack, something that they want nothing to do with: But destiny isn't willing to let them go so easily.
