But in an act of defiance against the no. 2 hero, Izuku applies to the support class instead of the hero course. Endeavor, in a fit of rage and disappointment, makes Izuku take the entrance exam like any other kid instead of giving him a recommendation. Though this doesn't stop our hero, who makes it in with top scores and goes to show the world he doesn't need the name Todoroki backing him.

One shouldn't overload themselves just to prove a point. Aren't there other support course students who can help him?" Iida asked standing up. Aizawa simply sighed before answering.
"He'll have no trouble adding improvements and doing his school work. There is a reason why he was chosen for the job. If he couldn't handle it then he wouldn't have been given the task. And besides, he didn't ask for this project, more like it was forced upon him simply because he is the only one fit for the job. Now if that all, the rest of the class will be for you to work on your designs that are due at the end of the day." After Bakugo being kidnapped his nightmares worsen. Usually he reads books to keep himself busy or he teached himself stuff a usual teen shouldn't (probably) know like hacking or poisoning. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home. After the sports festival, he drastically changed due to the words that Izuku said and saw what he did for his son. He ended up visiting his wife in the mental hospital to talk to her and he came to so many realizations. He apologized to her and promised to do better and have her released from the hospital to return home if she wished or to move into a new home at her desire. This shocked the family and they were willing to hear him out and see his change. Touya Todoroki aka Dabi is an undercover hero for the hero commission in this AU. The family is aware of him being an underground hero. Dabi did it as a form of protest against his father since he wanted him to go into the spotlight but refused and went underground heroics. The family doesn't know his undercover look or name but he does return home often when he can. (He does not have the scars permanently. They are due to a quirk that changes his looks.) Izuku will step up as one of the main fighter in the war gaining him the number 1 spot, later UA revealed that Izuku Midoriya is the successor of All Might which managed to bring hope to the whole Japan that have seen him in action but not everything went well as Shigaraki has released AFO from Tartarus leaving two powerful villains to fight and Izuku only chance was to use a time travel which was suggested by the first user of OFA. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying.
