"And how are you so sure?" "Ugh. You're so oblivious. Can't you see? He's doing his best to show you how much he cares about you and all you see in him is a cocky football player. He's given up almost everything for you– Hell he even sang in front of the whole school just for you! Open your eyes, Charlotte. This boy is in love with you." ••••••••••• Charlotte Wilson has just moved into town all the way from Maryland to California for a business-related reason. She's had some bad times in her past: drinking, partying, etc. but she put that all behind for her senior year in high school. She ends up being a quiet wallflower with only one friend who fears boys, popularity and parties. Will a normal football player change how she acts? Will she stay the same? Will she see more than just a cocky jock?

His voice came out rich and smooth. "so, do you trust me?" The look he was giving me was starting to make me sweat. My words seemed to be failing me so I nodded awkwardly in response. He bit his lip and pulled me into him. He brought his lips to my ear. "and you won't regret it."
