Princess Dianna, first Born to King Darius, is hated by her people for her gift of magic, a gift she was born with because of her father. When she turned 16 her father traveled far and wide to find a place to send Dianna, that would rid himself of her. Dianna wanted to be rid of her father as well but wished for anything but banishment from her mother and brothers.
After two years of searching, Dianna and her father, find the rumored Mountain men. A group of people so detached from their world that they would know nothing of Dianna and her powers.
Zander, Lord of his people wishes nothing else but peace and quiet. Cursed many years ago, love or even the idea of a betrothed never crossed his mind. Until Dianna showed up. A young girl that was brave enough to look him in the eye and strange enough to catch his eye. He agrees to allow Dianna to stay with him for a year before he decides if he is going to marry her or send her on her way.
Dianna fears her secret powers.
Zander fears his curse.
Will the unlikely pair be just what the other needed to live again?
